2013 - Piano Studio Masterclass

Taught 20  piano students how to play as an accompianist by arranging solo pieces, rehearsing the children, and then hosting a concert with the piano studio's teacher, Barbara Mohar.

2010 - Bangalore and Chennai, India

Performance and Education
-Taught trumpet at a local orphanage and at an elementary school.
-Performed with Indian musicians in the Carnatic style.
-Studied Carnatic style voice and Nagaswaram (a double reed instrument of India)

-Studied history, music form and performance of traditional Gamelan music and instruments
-Performed on Gamelan instruments in Ubud, Bali’s cultural art center.
-Performed jazz trumpet in local jazz venues in Ubud.

-Taught jazz to beginner musicians by addressing instrument fundamentals, music theory, and jazz standards.          
-Brought students to Acton Jazz Café’ to gain experience by performing with professional musicians.

Elementary Summer School Program in Utica, NY
-Music Director for more than forty students. 
-My role was to inspire students and increase their interest in music.
-I taught both individual and group lessons on the full spectrum of musical instruments.

2004 - North-Utica Senior Citizen Center

Elementary Summer School Program in Utica, NY
-Music Director for more than forty students. 
-My role was to introduce a different instrument each week to each student to broaden their knowledge of musical instruments.
-By the end of the summer, we presented a successful concert including a string ensemble, brass ensemble and other mixed ensembles.

2003 - North-Utica Senior Citizen Center

Elementary Summer School Program in Utica, NY
-Initiated music program for the NUSCC and acted as Music Director for more than forty students. 
-I prepared the students for the center’s first musical, “The Magic in Me”, by teaching them chorale and solo singing while accompanying them on piano.

2002 – Kids in America 9/11 Tour, Utica, NY

Music Director, arranger, and trumpeter for 30-40 children ranging from elementary to high school.
-The group toured for 2 weeks in Washington DC and New York City.
